Queensland Holiday

Back in January of 2019 Mum and I went on a little trip around south-east Queensland. The final destination on this holiday within a holiday was Peregian to catch up with Mum's brother and his family. Aunty Rhonda is an exceptional artist.

Uncle Bruce, Aunty Rhonda, Mum and I headed into Montville. We ate at The Edge Restaurant.

The salad was generously proportioned with fresh ingredients, although I would've appreciated a little more dressing.

Mum enjoyed her tomato juice.

We all enjoyed the gorgeous view.

Next we explored the shops of the quiet town.

Art adorns the streets.

Next on the agenda was a sunset cruise on Noosa River.

For this relaxing cruise passengers take their own snacks and drinks. My cousins joined us on this cruise. It was nice to catch up with whole clan against a stunning, sunset backdrop.

Dinner that night was at Noosa Italian Restaurant.

The cinnamon and apple infused sangria tasted like a summery Christmas.

The following day Uncle Bruce, Aunty Rhonda, Mum and I had a delicious lunch at Periwinkle Restaurant.

We relaxed back at the house before farewelling everyone, including Memphis and Shelby.

Then we were dropped off at the minuscule Maroochydore Airport. We took off into the sunset.

Then touched down to see Sydney's sparkling lights.
