Activities and Sleepover with Addy

When my niece (and sister and brother-in-law) visited in May last year I planned a bunch of activities for her to do with Aunt Clary.

We made cupcakes.

Addy was really into Encanto at the time, so we listened to the soundtrack while baking. Here Addy is doing her best impression of Louisa.

One of Addy's favourite parts of baking was licking the batter.

Don't worry, she only had a little bit. I'm sure she would've had it all if she was allowed.

We had a brief interlude of hide-and-seek.

Then it was time to ice the cupcakes.

Addy's other favourite part of baking was licking the icing.

Our cupcakes got the Addy and Aunt Clary seal of approval - even if we were a little biased.

Next it was time for dress-ups.

Gigig even joined in.

Addy didn't want to hold my hand at first, but then decided she did.

We did a little craft.

Although Addy was much more interested in cutting the paper.

I tried to convince her to have a nap by reading on my bed, but that didn't work.

After a few books and no nap we gave the My Model a makeover.

Then I introduced Addy to an Aussie food staple - ice-cream and Milo.

I showed her the best part is when you mix it around.

It was only until after looking back at the next photo that I realised Addy gave the combo a thumbs up.

Later that day Gigig and I went to dinner at the Bravos' hotel suite.

Addy isn't a fan of getting her face wiped, so I pretended I was giving her a facial.

I taught her a TikTok dance that we were going to film the following day.

The final activity before bed was reading.

Alicia ended up taking over.

The next morning we took a trip to Mrs C's Cupcakes. Addy just kept repeating, "Chocolate, chocolate..." I think she was a little overwhelmed by all the treats.

Stay tuned to find out where else we went that day.
