Trip to Australia Takes the Cake
My birthday celebrations continued with a visit to my cousin Lisa's place. Lisa cousin, and my lifelong friend, Bec and her children, Lucas and Chelsea were there too. We'd been to Thai La-Ong for lunch. When we returned Lisa surprised us with a couple of Woolies mudcakes for the three January birthdays. Chelsea very excitedly sang, Happy Birthday. A couple of bunnies joined the celebration too. I also received a video call from Addy that day. Dinner that evening was at Lone Star at the Nepean River. People who frequented the former Lone Star location back in the day will remember it as the restaurant where you could throw your peanut shells on the ground. Times have changed. They still offer peanuts to every table, but you can’t throw the shells on the ground. Tella Balls Dessert Bar was our next stop. Just a short walk along the restaurant precinct pavement.
