Having a Ball at Disney World

I was spending my final full day on my most recent visit to Disney World at Epcot.

Coral Reef Restaurant was my first stop.

I met up with Nicole who I lived with when I worked at Disney World. We treated ourselves to a couple of fancy cocktails.

Lunch was delicious, but a little on the spicy side.

Once again Disney did not disappoint with its festive cheer.

We headed over to the Character Spot to catch up with some pals. Oh boy! Mickey was thrilled to see us.

We greeted Goofy.

Then were delighted to see Minnie.

Epcot's World Showcase exhibits the beauty of a variety of countries.

Among the countries are Germany,

Italy,

Japan,

and Morocco.

In Norway we met Anna.

Elsa then asked us if we knew a Samantha. Nicole and I revealed to Elsa that we'd both lived with a Samantha during our time on the Disney College Program. (The same Samantha I moved to England with.)

I need to work on my ice queen hand positioning. Kind of just looks like I could be having a muscle spasm.

Nicole and I thanked Elsa for her time then continued with exploring the countries. We travelled through France.

If you look closely at the window reflection you'll see a man on the left who happens to be posing like the mannequin.

We found ourselves in the United Kingdom.

We listened to Father Christmas while waiting in line.

We were in line to see Winnie the Pooh.

The character attendant asked if we liked the Christmas decorations and had any suggestions for more.

Nicole then headed home, while I decided to stick around. I set off for The Seas with Nemo and Friends.

Spaceship Earth was my next stop.

I wasn't quite ready for the photo.

I saw a PhotoPass photographer by the Christmas tree, so thought I'd get a few photos.

I was asked to pose with my finger like the number one in the air for a photo that would be edited later. I had no idea what the photo would be, so complied. Here is the finished product.

I'm not entirely sure why I had to do that pose. The photo is also completely unedited by me.

The evening fireworks show Forever Epcot would soon begin, so found myself a prime location in Mexico to watch the show I'd never seen before.

In my previous post I said the brilliance of Disney's fireworks had destroyed other fireworks for me. Well, all the other evening Disney shows I'd seen destroyed Epcot's newest offering for me.

It was just a bunch of fireworks over World Showcase Lagoon with a few quotes and a bit of music. There were also a few strips of light being flown around by people on jetskis. I think it was supposed to be nostalgic, but I just wasn't feeling it.

The World Showcase did glow beautifully in the evening sky.

The following day I left All Star Movies resort behind for the next destination in my American adventure.

I was heading for Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
