Birthday Week - Part 2

Day 2 of Birthday week took Mum and I to The Grounds of Alexandria. After admiring images on their social media for years I finally visited the establishment, and convinced Mum to make the trip in too. Our visit coincided with a celebration of the 70th anniversary of the film, Cinderella . Following the previous day's Pixar Putt outing, it wasn't difficult to convince myself I was at Disney World. My golden Mickey Ears made another appearance. At one point a little girl walked passed and exclaimed, "I see Mickey Mouse!" The truth I wasn't trying to be Mickey Mouse, but I am glad it brought her joy. I was actually aiming for a Cinderella Disneybound, but I wasn't about to correct the little girl. The laneway was exquisitely adorned with lavish decorations inspired by Cinderella . Paolo Sebastian gowns left me wondering if perhaps I should've worn a ball gown. Birthday Week - Part 1

I didn't think I was going to do much for my birthday. I was going to keep it low key, but then I stumbled across a few fun things to do. For some reason I thought I'd be able to fit my entire birthday week into one post. Apparently I took (and posed for) way too many photos to fit into one post, so... without further ado, welcome to part one of birthday week. A few months ago I saw Pixar Putt would be in Sydney for a limited time. I thought it looked like fun, but never got around to booking it. Then they announced it would be extended until the end of January. It became the perfect way to start birthday week. We were greeted by Mike... and Sulley. Y'all know the girl who used to work at Pizza Planet had to drive the Pizza Planet cart. At this point I wondered if I'd be the chosen one. I was not.
