Birthday Week - Part 1

I didn't think I was going to do much for my birthday. I was going to keep it low key, but then I stumbled across a few fun things to do. For some reason I thought I'd be able to fit my entire birthday week into one post. Apparently I took (and posed for) way too many photos to fit into one post, so... without further ado, welcome to part one of birthday week.

A few months ago I saw Pixar Putt would be in Sydney for a limited time. I thought it looked like fun, but never got around to booking it. Then they announced it would be extended until the end of January. It became the perfect way to start birthday week.

We were greeted by Mike...

and Sulley.

Y'all know the girl who used to work at Pizza Planet had to drive the Pizza Planet cart.

At this point I wondered if I'd be the chosen one.

I was not.

I should probably mention that while we were given a score card, we chose not to fill it in.

We found it difficult to get the ball down the piano keys at the Soul hole, so we just pushed them down with our hands while telling ourselves (and anyone in earshot) it was the wind.

From that point all the rules were out the window.

Mum was stoked she got the ball into the hole with just a few strokes... and without cheating.

Despite my lack of golfing prowess I was happy to be there.

The socially distant event was the perfect way to start my 32nd birthday celebrations.

It was cheesy and I loved it.

So did Mum and Eric.

There are only a few days of Pixar Putt left in Sydney (Parramatta) and Brisbane, so you better hurry "Up" if you want to go.
