Don't mind me just blogging about New Year's Eve 2021 the day before New Year's Eve 2022. I guess this means I'm now less than a year behind with my blogging. Maybe I should make getting up-to-date my new year's resolution... but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to set achievable goals.

Ok, so last year's New Year's Eve was pretty low key. Although I do believe it was the 21st at home party I hosted that year. (You might remember that on every Saturday of lockdown I hosted a party for my mum, my step-dad and I.)

The final party of 2021 had 2 guests.



The theme was Pyjama Party.









I even baked a white chocolate mud cake. 





I made my famous Bailey's cocktails.





We did a little colouring in.





We completed the 2021 Quiz of the Year.



Then we rang in the New Year with a fabulous view of Sydney's fireworks.

The End of My USA Holiday

Ok, so we’ve gotta go back to January last year for this one.  My final blog about my trip to see the Bravos is very condensed. I was sick, so couldn’t really do much for the last week.  Thankfully, Paige was able to visit.  It was so good to see fellow Pizza Planetear. We of course DFEMed (Dessert For Every Meal), and played some games. Other things I got up to that week included story time with Addy, eating some of the same meals as Addy and game time with Addy.  I also binged The Crown. When Addy was out she decided I needed a love heart cookie.  Addy’s nail salon opened on our final morning. I couldn’t attend, so Alicia took some photos.  At the airport I was fixing up my bag and I heard a little voice yell, “I need to hug Aunt Clary!” I was always going to go back for a hug.  Mum and I had a meal in the airport. Apparently I really felt connected to the colour orange that day.  Then we were flying high over NYC back to Syd.
