Easter 2022

One day I will be up-to-date with my blog again, but for now we're taking it back to Easter last year.

I found this cutie at the shops.





He inspired my at-home Easter party look.









I of course had to do a little photo shoot.









Mum got involved too. She was definitely the best dressed chicken at the party.



I baked some Easter cookies.



And I had a delicious cupcake baked by my musical society friend, Sam. She gave them out at Chicago rehearsals.



Mum and I also cranked up the Easter tunes.



We each did find-a-words that had been lying around since Easter 2020.



Then I found my face on the Pontin's website. 





I wonder if I'll reappear this Easter.



To finish our Easter celebrations we video called Addy who wanted join the dress-up fun.

That Time I Surprised Addy

At the beginning of last year I decided it would be fun to spend Christmas in New York with my niece. I also thought it would be a good idea to surprise her. A week or so (I actually can’t remember how long before) my mum and I told Addy over a video call that we’d be spending Christmas with her, her mum (my sister, Alicia) and her dad (Carlos). The journey for Mum and I started in Sydney… with a photo for the blog, of course.  After an insane amount of hours flying, an encounter with an angry, egotistical TSA agent (or was that on the way home?) we made it to the newly renovated Terminal B in LaGuardia Airport.  Back tracking a little, Mum and I were lined up to walk past sniffer dogs. Except you couldn’t see what was actually happening because there were partitions. Wisconsin Adventures

While in America in January last year I took a little trip to Wisconsin to visit Kyra and meet her son, Walter, for the first time in real life.  I took off from LaGuardia airport.  And touched down in Milwaukee.  I stayed at Kyra’s parents’ place with Mom and Dad Nowacki (Kyra and her family were one of my adopted families when I lived in America… as a 26 year old).  Kyra, Walter and I ventured Downtown.  We had some snacks and hot drinks.  Walter kept peaking out on the way back to the car. He wanted to know what was going on. I also think he was a little confused that I kept going everywhere with them.  We took a few touristy shots.  And a few festive ones.  We took all these photos for the blog, of course.  We watched a little football.
