The Birdhouse and a Mad House

Back when the Bravos visited we all caught up with Uncle Bruce and Aunty Rhonda.

We met at The Birdhouse for a delicious feast and lovely atmosphere.

Aunty Rhonda won Addy over by giving her chips.

The restaurant used to be located in Penrith, but has since moved to Minchinbury.

On our walk to the restaurant we spotted this macaw enjoying the midday sun.

(I used to have more photos of the Birdhouse and of the macaw, but all the photos disappeared from this post and I can only reupload the ones I still have on my phone.)

Later that afternoon, Alicia, Carlos, Addy and I went to a mad house - mad because it's so cool and we all had a mad time there.

Cassie and Stuart invited us over for a catch up and dinner.

Mrs C's Cupcakes supplied the dessert from our trip there earlier in the day.

We spent time playing games and dancing with their daughters, Koa, Kylah and Kahlani.

We played Just Dance,

did some line dancing,

and watched a strange video of cows as requested by Kahlani.

Addy even had her first ever haircut.

A few months later when Addy was talking about her trip she said, "My friend Cassie cut my hair."

Then she pointed to me and said, "You were there." You know I do actually remember that.

We finished the evening with Kahlani doing our imaginary make-up.

We all had such a mad time.
