Random Adventures in 2023
2023 was full of adventures with friends. Here are some of those adventures with some of those friends.
The Forever New girls helped celebrate Steph’s birthday.
The celebration was held at Percy Plunkett.
Such a great cafe in Penrith, especially when you’re there with great friends.
Ron and I got swept up in the Barbie hype.
We went to the Lappo (aka Lapstone Hotel) for cocktails after. Aside from feeling like we walked out of Barbieland into Ken’s Mojo Dojo Casa House, it was an enjoyable experience. And I would get the Toblerone cocktail again.
I saw Jacqui debut professional musical theatre performance in Winnie The Pooh.
It was such a wonderful, adorable show. And it was so special to see a friend living her dream.
Along with some Blue Mountains Musical Society friends I caught Craig’s band SaLT.
I think this photo was taken shortly after someone asked if I was Kelly’s daughter.
TC and I grabbed dinner at 2773.
The pizza was delish. The cocktails not so much.
Then we saw The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Glenbrook Cinema is always a fabulous place to watch a movie.
I loved the movie so much I re-read the book and each time a song was mentioned I listened to it on Spotify.
Ron and I watched a few movies in the last part of 2023.
The Sound of Music was in preparation for our auditions for BMMS production.
Spoiler alert: we did become part of the convent and I was even dance captain.
I even noted some of the best quotes from the movies.
We also painted Christmas plasters while watching the festive films.
I’m not 100% sure what’s happening here. I think we’d joined the dancing.
