Thirty Fore!

I thought I should write this blog before I turn 35. It’s too late for that. So here’s my blog about turning 34… 2 months before I turn 36. 


I played a little putt putt, but we’ll get to that later. 
First was the photo shoot on the front porch. 



Then was dinner at Henry’s Bar & Restaurant. 




The place has had a glow up since my last visit back in its King Henry’s Court days. 






I rate the food, drinks and decor. Mum rates the texture of the wall. 


After dinner it was time for cupcakes… and of course more photos. 



Then we move onto the day of putt putt. 


Holey Moley had recently opening in Westfield Penrith. 




It looked like it might be kind of fun. And honestly, that’s all it was. If you go there with a positive mindset you might just have fun. 




Also, going with someone who’ll take photos in the different areas is fun. 




Mum was practising for retirement. Fast forward almost 2 years and she is actually now retired. 




I did get a free visor, which was pretty cool.

That Time I Surprised Addy

At the beginning of last year I decided it would be fun to spend Christmas in New York with my niece. I also thought it would be a good idea to surprise her. A week or so (I actually can’t remember how long before) my mum and I told Addy over a video call that we’d be spending Christmas with her, her mum (my sister, Alicia) and her dad (Carlos). The journey for Mum and I started in Sydney… with a photo for the blog, of course.  After an insane amount of hours flying, an encounter with an angry, egotistical TSA agent (or was that on the way home?) we made it to the newly renovated Terminal B in LaGuardia Airport.  Back tracking a little, Mum and I were lined up to walk past sniffer dogs. Except you couldn’t see what was actually happening because there were partitions. Wisconsin Adventures

While in America in January last year I took a little trip to Wisconsin to visit Kyra and meet her son, Walter, for the first time in real life.  I took off from LaGuardia airport.  And touched down in Milwaukee.  I stayed at Kyra’s parents’ place with Mom and Dad Nowacki (Kyra and her family were one of my adopted families when I lived in America… as a 26 year old).  Kyra, Walter and I ventured Downtown.  We had some snacks and hot drinks.  Walter kept peaking out on the way back to the car. He wanted to know what was going on. I also think he was a little confused that I kept going everywhere with them.  We took a few touristy shots.  And a few festive ones.  We took all these photos for the blog, of course.  We watched a little football.
