Wisconsin Adventures
While in America in January last year I took a little trip to Wisconsin to visit Kyra and meet her son, Walter, for the first time in real life.
I took off from LaGuardia airport.
And touched down in Milwaukee.
I stayed at Kyra’s parents’ place with Mom and Dad Nowacki (Kyra and her family were one of my adopted families when I lived in America… as a 26 year old).
Kyra, Walter and I ventured Downtown.
We had some snacks and hot drinks.
Walter kept peaking out on the way back to the car. He wanted to know what was going on. I also think he was a little confused that I kept going everywhere with them.
We took a few touristy shots.
And a few festive ones.
We took all these photos for the blog, of course.
We watched a little football. Go Pack Go!
The next morning we took a little trip to the zoo.
Later that afternoon I visited Kyra’s sister and her 2 kids. I was supposed to spend more time with them another day, but I got sick.
There isn’t much left of this blog about Wisconsin because I ended up spending so much time in bed.
I ended up spending most of January in bed sick. My sickness turned into sinusitis and had I to postpone my Disney Cruise. But I did go on it and will blog about that later. For now, back to Wisconsin.
Like a true Cheesehead, Walter loved his NFL book, especially the touchdown part.
I really appreciated the home cooked meals.
I took a couple of photos leaving at 6am because it was snowing - it was the only snow I saw during my whole American adventure.
I left Wisconsin.
I landed back in New York to flowers selected by Addy for me.
And Gigig spent time showing Addy videos of her as a toddler. I’m not sure what she enjoyed more - watching the videos or staying up past her bedtime.
