‘Tis the Season at Disneyland Paris
Samantha and I set off for the RER in the morning on January 6. Paris’ train system would take us to Disneyland Paris. As an annual pass holder and Disney store employee, Samantha often frequents the European Disney Park. For me, this visit would be my first. We arrived at the Disneyland Paris train station to realise resort buses were delayed, so we trekked with our luggage to the Wild West themed, Hotel Cheyenne.

It was a festive delight.

I eventually made it through the check in line, and booked our meals that were included in our cheap tickets. We had a package deal that included accommodation, park tickets, and two meals each per day. The cheap tickets were partly due our visit falling on the few days between Christmas shows ending and other shows starting. We used our visit to soak in the magical atmosphere, meet characters, marvel at the parades, and live it up on the rides.
The time had come to find our room with all the Toy Story trimmings.
We freshened up before briskly walking over to Disneyland Park.
We were hoping to catch the final Christmas parade of the festive season.
We made it!
We arrived as the parade was beginning.
The parade was a full of colour.
It was a festive delight.
I was excited to see the Toy Story crew.
Santa was there too.
We followed the parade through the park, joining in with the dance moves.
A brilliant blue sky provided the perfect backdrop for a Sleeping Beauty Castle photo shoot.
Would you believe that these photos were candid? They're definitely not. What you can't see is that I'm standing on a platform.
As the writer of Clary's Adventures I was pretty stoked to see Adventureland.
I was also stoked to see Pizza Outpost, where we grabbed lunch.
After lunch we hit up Phantom Manor like a couple of foolish mortals.
It's the European version of the Haunted Mansion.
Then we strolled through the park.
We were on our way to the Indiana Jones ride.
After being jolted around we walked through Frontierland, and were on our way to see Stars on Parade... which will be featured in my next post.
