Things I Learnt in School... of Rock
I learnt I can be anything...
like a teacher in a prestigious preparatory school.

In each show I also learnt that my parent presentation would be me dressing up like a food or beverage and doing interpretive dance. It's best not to mess with a 60 year tradition.

During rehearsals for School of Rock I learnt that I was a parent.
I was a mother to two lovely daughters called Marcy... and Marcy, played by the talented Neveah and Ava.

I learnt how to be a roadie.
It was during this time I learnt you'll probably need a ladder if you want to rig some lights. (Kelly can go and get the ladder.)

I also learnt how to really rock.

During bump in Emily, Jess and I learnt tracing can sometimes be more difficult than it looks.
I also learnt all about paint and poscas.
See the black eyes on the skull... I painted them.
I learnt I always have room for new friends, like Ron.
Especially like Ron.
You might know her from her popular (in dressing room one) musical hits like Tomato Sauce All Over My Face.
There's no one else I'd rather hear recite all the lines of VelociPastor and then do early morning roadside photo shoots with.
Can you believe all of these photos are completely un-retouched?
I learnt there is a little Sheinkopf in all of us, but mostly Dani.
Daniel, if you're wondering where I am in these photos I'm right next to you.
Most importantly, I once again learnt community is the best part of community theatre.
Thank you to everyone who was part of the show.
Thank you for the meme-ories, car-ography, and discussions about what it means to pound sand.
You can bet your bottom that you all mean the world to me.
And thank you to everyone who supported the show.
Love, lobbies (and nuggies) always. xo
