Exploring Brissie

Mum and I caught a free ferry from Eagle Street in Brisbane to South Bank 3. I should mention this outing occurred on January 14, 2019. I have been occupying the same corner of the lounge room for the past three weeks. Ok, back to 2019. Here we have confused meets Confuscius. There's even a man-made beach at the South Bank.  I didn't go for a dip, but I did grab a classic Aussie treat - the Rainbow Paddle Pop. We snagged a few photos with the Brisbane sign because if you didn't get a photo with the sign, did you even go to Brisbane? We strolled across the bridge and saw some stunning sights. Lunch that day was at Cafe Brisbane. It included a trio of bruschettas and a strawberry smoothie. Today was our final day in Brisbane. That afternoon Mum and I caught a Greyhound bus to Peregian to catch up with some family. The Queensland adventures will continue soon. Beautiful One Day, Perfect The Next

My January 13, 2019 adventure in Queensland began with a trip to Westfield Chermside. The resort-like interior was a lot fancier than the Westfield shopping centre in Penrith. I was here to met Rangi and Alex. We all worked together at Pizza Planet in Disney World in 2015. We all grabbed a delectable lunch at Kinn+Derm. After roaming around the centre we farewelled Rangi. Then Alex and I headed to the jungle. We did eventually escape and part ways. I rejoined Mum and we caught the bus to Roma Street Parklands. The lush vegetation was home to a few creatures. This dude was working his angles. He was desperate to be part of this blog.  The vibrant flowers were the perfect photo shoot backdrop. I found another friend. He played a little hide 'n' seek. Dinner that night was with Jane, Pete, Rhea and Mum at Cafe 63 in New Farm. I recommend the Sir Don surf  'n' turf dish. Stay tuned to discover more sights of Australia from the comfort of your quara...
