Cardiff's Charms
In February last year I travelled across to the South West of England for work. I decided to make the most of my week there by taking a day trip to Cardiff in Wales. Cardiff Castle was my first stop. Here you'll find an homage to the country's emblem. Yep, it's a dragon. Pretty awesome national symbol. The ornate interior includes gold leaf ceilings. I’d finally found a knight in shining armour. He’s the strong, silent type, and a master at playing hard to get. Here's a photo of me in front of the castle's steep, narrow steps to prove I did actually travel to Wales. The outer walls of the castle were used as air raid shelters during World War II. Some of the posters are once again relevant for life today. In the current fight against coronavirus we’re urged not to panic buy household goods, such as bread and toilet paper.
