Queensland Holiday

Back in January of 2019 Mum and I went on a little trip around south-east Queensland. The final destination on this holiday within a holiday was Peregian to catch up with Mum's brother and his family. Aunty Rhonda is an exceptional artist. Uncle Bruce, Aunty Rhonda, Mum and I headed into Montville. We ate at The Edge Restaurant. The salad was generously proportioned with fresh ingredients, although I would've appreciated a little more dressing. Mum enjoyed her tomato juice. We all enjoyed the gorgeous view. For this relaxing cruise passengers take their own snacks and drinks. My cousins joined us on this cruise. It was nice to catch up with whole clan against a stunning, sunset backdrop. Dinner that night was at Noosa Italian Restaurant. The cinnamon and apple infused sangria tasted like a summery Christmas. The following day U...

Exploring Brissie

Mum and I caught a free ferry from Eagle Street in Brisbane to South Bank 3. I should mention this outing occurred on January 14, 2019. I have been occupying the same corner of the lounge room for the past three weeks. Ok, back to 2019. Here we have confused meets Confuscius. There's even a man-made beach at the South Bank.  I didn't go for a dip, but I did grab a classic Aussie treat - the Rainbow Paddle Pop. We snagged a few photos with the Brisbane sign because if you didn't get a photo with the sign, did you even go to Brisbane? We strolled across the bridge and saw some stunning sights. Lunch that day was at Cafe Brisbane. It included a trio of bruschettas and a strawberry smoothie. Today was our final day in Brisbane. That afternoon Mum and I caught a Greyhound bus to Peregian to catch up with some family. The Queensland adventures will continue soon.
